Released on Monday, March 8th, Leigh & The Lollipops is Leigh Marble and The Ascetic Junkies live collaboration at the LaurelThrist Public House during The Junkies February residency.
Leigh Marble joined The Junkies on their last evening at the Laurelthirst on February 24th and together the entire cast gathered on stage to record Leigh’s song “On Your Way,” which is available for free download on Bandcamp. The b-side is live version of “Lucky Bastards,” also featuring several members of The Ascetic Junkies and the banjo!
Previously, Leigh had remixed the hauntingly poppy song “Dracula” from The Junkies EP Don’t Wait for the Rescue Squad that came out in December 2009.
