Soul’d Out Music Festival 2012: Will Bernard: Berkeley native son plays the groove forward in NYC and Saturday at the Goodfoot

No mystery to fans of heavy jazz and the funky side of R&B, he has been leading his own bands, as well as being a heavy hitter for the likes of Dr. Lonnie Smith, Stanton Moore, and the acclaimed TJ Kirk (with Charlie Hunter). Now based in NYC, the guitarist brings his new trio to Portland at the Goodfoot Lounge on Saturday April 21st.
